Exploring the iconic castle in Hogwarts Legacy reveals numerous environmental puzzles, including the famous Bell Tower riddle tied to Evangeline Bardsley's quest. Players must restore two missing bells to their proper positions in the choir tower to complete this objective and claim their rewards. Solving this puzzle requires a mix of exploration, spell management, and precision movement.

Finding the Missing Bell Locations

Before you can repair the chime setup, you need to locate the two missing bronze bells scattered around the staircases. The first missing bell rests on a landing several flights below the main bell housing structure. The second, smaller bell sits higher up on a wooden platform near the top of the stairwell tower.

Using Spells to Move the Bells

To manipulate the heavy objects, players should equip the Accio and Levioso spells, or use Wingardium Leviosa for direct control. Guide the lower bell up the stairs carefully to avoid dropping it down the central stairwell gaps. Once elevated, position the larger bell into the lower empty slot on the wooden frame.

Placing the Second Bell and Completing the Quest

After securing the first bell, climb to the higher platform to retrieve the remaining smaller bell. Lift it toward the upper tier of the bell display and slot it neatly into the top empty gap. Once both bells are correctly seated, they will automatically ring, signaling the successful resolution of the puzzle and allowing you to report back to complete the side quest.
